Originally we met the clients to build the original pergola seen in the photos as weathered. The weathering is a natural process that occurs with cedar if the wood is not power washed or treated with a clear coat stain. This provides a more natural or rustic look. At that time we also built a grill island. In 2015 we went back and tore out the deck and replaced it with a stamped concrete patio. The new concrete was colored to match the existing concrete and the existing concrete was given a fresh color coat. We then sealed all of the concrete. A natural gas fire feature coffee table, stand up bar with a cedar trellis top to match the pergola style was installed. Defining sit walls around the patio were installed with Low voltage lighting placed under the seat tops.
